The Uttar Pradesh government announced on September 10, 2026, that it will conduct a month-long public outreach campaign called 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan'. The campaign, running from September 17 to October 17, aims to disseminate information about welfare achievements and policy reforms to every section of society.
According to an official statement reported by The Hindu, the initiative intends to celebrate the completion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years of continuous public service. State government bodies and organizations will jointly run the program. The campaign's stated objective is to connect every citizen with the national resolve for a developed India, or 'Viksit Bharat', by the year 2047.
Campaign Preparations and Directives
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed preparations for the campaign on September 10. He was joined by BJP State President and Union Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary, and State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal. Adityanath directed that the campaign be conducted with extensive public participation.
He instructed officials to bring achievements in service, good governance, and development before the people through the stories of actual beneficiaries. The Chief Minister emphasized that every section of society, including youth, women, farmers, and deprived groups, should be made participants in the 'Viksit Bharat' resolve. All in-charge ministers were told to visit their respective districts and assembly constituencies to review the preparations.
Organizational Structure and Outreach Scale
The government has established a three-tier coordination system operating at the government, Chief Minister's Office, and district levels. Officials have prepared a data bank cataloging development works undertaken by the Central Government over the past 12 years and the State Government over the last 10 years.
The campaign plans to connect a massive number of families and beneficiaries across Uttar Pradesh. The official statement provided the following breakdown:

Inaugural Events and Activities
The campaign will commence on September 17 with 'Seva Diwas: Aashirwad Ka Diya'. At 7 p.m., lamps will be lit alongside service activities. Lamps will also be lit at the homes of beneficiary families and at the sites of major development projects. The in-charge minister for this inaugural program will be Dharmveer Prajapati.
Coinciding with Vishwakarma Jayanti on the same day, the state government added that Vishwakarma Puja will be organized in all assembly constituencies. As part of these observances, toolkits will be distributed to artisans.
The campaign is structured as a large-scale governmental communication effort, focusing on direct outreach and symbolic events to mark a political milestone.
