CJP Founder Says BJP Should Heed RSS Chief

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke said on Sunday that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should listen to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. Dipke, who led a protest at Jantar Mantar over alleged NEET exam irregularities, argued the BJP believes it has become bigger than the RSS after twelve years in power.

According to a PTI report cited by Dipke, he stated, "I have been saying this from the beginning that the BJP should listen to Mohan Bhagwat." He emphasized that the BJP is in power because of the RSS, which he described as its mentor.

Contrasting Messages on Protesters

Dipke pointed to a contrast between statements from the RSS chief and the Prime Minister regarding young protesters. He noted that Mohan Bhagwat had previously said protesting members of Generation Z should not be labelled anti-nationals.

However, Dipke stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi subsequently used the term 'Dimagi Naxal'. "It clearly shows that the PM is not listening to Mohan Bhagwat," Dipke added. The Boston University graduate said that while the RSS chief speaks about inclusivity and not disrespecting children, the Prime Minister uses such words. He remarked, "This doesn't look good."

Dipke was responding to questions about Bhagwat's recent statement in New York. There, the RSS chief had said that if any Hindu thinks there should be no Muslims in Bharat, he will not remain a Hindu.

Response to Sonam Wangchuk's Comments

Activist Sonam Wangchuk, who conducted a hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, gave an interview to a YouTube channel. In it, he reportedly assessed that CJP leaders have political ambition and are "not saints". Asked about this, Abhijeet Dipke asserted that Wangchuk's statement was being distorted.

Dipke explained that Wangchuk was asked specifically about CJP members Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka having ambitions. "Wangchuk said that we are talented and good leaders and have not been corrupt till now. We have run the agitation honestly." Dipke stated.

He pointed out that Wangchuk was later asked about the future. Dipke said nobody can predict what a person will do. "Even I cannot tell. I tell people repeatedly not to have blind faith in anyone because we do not know, there is no guarantee what any person will do in future," he said. Notably, Sonam Wangchuk asserted in the interview that it was not wrong to have political ambition.
